Windows Installation Guide

This tutorial will guide you through the steps to install Binbot on your Windows system.

  1. It is recommended that you uninstall all existing versions of Binbot on your system before installing a new version of Binbot. To avoid losing all your settings, make sure you answer No when asked whether to delete all Binbot configuration data.

  2. Double click the binbot2.0b3.exe installer to start the installation.

  3. Select I accept the agreement and click Next.

  4. Select the destination folder and click Next.

  5. Select the Start Menu folder and click Next.

  6. Select whether to create a Start Menu group, a desktop icon and a Quick Launch icon, then click Next.

  7. Click Install to install Binbot.

  8. The installation is complete. Click Finish to exit.

  9. If no Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is detected on your system, you will be prompted to install it. Click OK to proceed. You must be connected to the Internet in order to complete the JRE installation.

    Note: The Java Runtime Environment version 1.5 or higher must be installed on your system for Binbot to run properly.
